I have a bachelor's degree in music from Western Sydney University Penrith with a sub-major in composition and performance. I've studied sound technology and music history, theory, and philosophy as well. In addition, I have a Diploma of Christian Studies from the Australian College of Ministries.
Experience
I have worked with children in various jobs and roles, including as a youth group leader and camp facilitator. I assist people in their post-secondary academic subjects as well. Early on, I helped friends with assignments and homework. Quick to understand concepts and ideas, I also find it easy to explain them to people so that they are easier to grasp. I enjoy helping people do what it takes to reach for their potential. Subjects I can help in include vocabulary, writing, reading, essay editing, poetry writing, history, religious studies, public speaking, philosophy, and ethics. I know piano and music theory as well, so can work with you in these areas.

Hobbies
I'm a weird mash of head and heart. I love a lot of creative things - like music, writing, drama, poetry, singing, songwriting - but then I'm also into computer games (particularly RPGs), board games, card games, and a couple of pen and paper games, science (a little bit of all of it, really), and ancient history. I'm good at seeing the whole picture, but also having an eye for detail - I've done a lot of proofreading and editing for friends.
