Experience
While I have not yet acquired any tutoring experience, I am a passionate and dedicated pre-service teacher who loves children and has their best interests at heart. I have previously worked in long daycare, as a casual babysitter and as a nanny. Completing my teaching work placement has strengthened my love for the profession. I am prepared to support students in reading, math, writing, and science topics between grades 1 through 6. I understand how to adjust my instructional techniques based on each student, allowing them to learn in the way that is most conducive to their development. We can work through assignments from class, such as multiplication tables, essay tasks, and more. Students need a strong grasp of these early concepts to succeed and feel confident in their future coursework. Through our sessions, I can help them gain a deeper understanding of the material.
